Brown credited the media and Internet for the rising popularity of the Congress: Improved news coverage of UFO sightings and a growing number of UFO Web sites have inspired casual observers of ufology to become participants in UFO research. What.s more, Brown said, researchers. increased willingness to embark on projects using electronic instrumentation also has bolstered the quality of ufological studies.
Authentic crop circles have unusual energy
In Sunday.s final presentation, Ron Russell made a startling revelation regarding last year.s crop circles in southern England. With Russell's test results, it is clear that disinformation is no longer swaying the public.
Russell showed that the hoaxters stayed at home last summer. Laurence Rockefeller.s grant to Colin Andrews enabled Andrews to put notorious hoaxters under surveillance. In the end, the watched-over pranksters left the fields alone. Yet, 150 crop circles appeared in southern England . the most yet.
Russell.s slideshow provided a tour-de-force survey of the enigmatic circles, symbols, and pictograms seen worldwide from the 1970s to the present day. Russell has carefully studied the energy of affected fields using magnetometers and static-energy measurement devices. He has found that the fields have so much energy that they have caused more than a half-dozen static-energy devices to short-circuit.
Russell surmises that crop circles are a cross-section of domes of energy, which reach above and below ground. He believes that the energy comes from another dimension; whether the energy is extraterrestrial or spirit-form is unknown. Either way, crop circles are growing more complex each year. The stalks of the circles made by hoaxters are snapped at the base. Authentic circles, by comparison, are bent as if water gently pushed the stalks in a given direction. Plus, real formations are modified genetically.
Leir to discuss removal of alien implants Monday
Monday.s lineup of speakers includes Dr. Roger Leir, who will talk about alien implant removals; A.J. Gavaerd, the Brazilian researcher who will report on South American UFO sightings; Michael Hesemann, the German ufologist who will reveal insights on the case of a Mexican contactee; and Leonard Buchanan, who will explore remote viewing techniques.
Leir, an orthopedic surgeon scheduled to speak at 9:45 a.m. Pacific, has discovered identical implants in four abductees, through the use of CAT scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The unusual implant devices are small, are made of exotic metals and crystals, and resemble solid-state transceivers. Leir compares the devices to melon seeds: tear-dropped and flat in shape.
Within the next two months, Leir expects to remove each of the four implants in front of a jury of famed surgeons and material scientists. The implants will be analyzed immediately after removal.
